What makes Polar Bear Aluminum railings different from other systems?

Polar Bear Aluminum railings are engineered from 100% 6063-T6 architectural-grade aluminum, offering superior strength, rust resistance, and durability. All systems are Intertek-certified and Ontario Building Code (OBC) compliant, ensuring safety and long-term reliability. Each railing is finished with an advanced powder coating available in black, white, or grey for a modern, maintenance-free finish.

Yes — all our railing systems meet or exceed the Ontario Building Code standards for height, load capacity, and safety. Each design is tested and certified, making them suitable for both residential and commercial applications, including decks, balconies, and multi-storey buildings.

  • Framed Glass Railings include aluminum framing around 6mm tempered glass panels. They’re ideal for homeowners who want safety, visibility, and modern style.

  • Frameless Glass Railings use 12mm tempered glass without top or vertical frames, creating a clean, uninterrupted view. These systems use spigots and connectors for a sleek architectural look, popular in luxury homes and commercial projects.

With proper installation and minimal care, our aluminum railings can last 25 years or more. The powder-coated finish is resistant to rust, fading, and chipping, even under extreme Canadian weather conditions.

All railing and screen products include a 3–5 year warranty (depending on the product line and contract terms). This covers structural performance and finish integrity under normal conditions. Please see your copy of project contract for more details.

We offer both supply and professional installation services across the Greater Toronto Area. Our in-house installers are experienced and ensure every job meets OBC standards. Contractors and builders may also order directly through our contractor pricing program.

Standard aluminum finishes include Black, White, and Grey, with optional custom powder coating upon request. For security screens, we offer Black, White, Grey, and Almond finishes — all rust-proof and UV-protected.
